A commemorative book published on the occasion of the retirement of Archbishop Valerian Trifa – the monastic name of Viorel D. Trifa – of the Romanian Orthodox Church in America and Canada. Valerian was a noted supporter of the Romanian fascist and anti-semitic political group, the Iron Guard (also known as the Legionnaire Movement). He played a part in the Legionnaires’ rebellion of January 21–23 of 1941 which resulted in the deaths of 125 Jews and over 30 soldiers.
