George F. Walker was born in Toronto in 1947. At the age of twenty-three he responded to the new Factory Theatre Lab’s call for scripts by writing PRINCE OF NAPLES and since that time he has been closely associated with the theatre. Factory produced all his early plays including BEYOND MOZAMBIQUE and RAMONA AND THE WHITE SLAVES. Toronto Free Theatre premiered GOSSIP and ZASTROZZI in 1977, and FILTHY RICH in 1979. During 1978, GOSSIP opened in five cities int he United States including San Francisco, Seattle, and New York. Walker lives in Toronto with his actress wife. Hardcover. (#1211) $35.00
