Toronto: Grip Printing and Publishing, 1885. First Edition. pp. 44; 44. Folio. Stapled wraps. Approx. 15.5″ x 11″. Text printed in four columns. Lacking the Middleton lithograph, however, contains many illustrations including three full double-sided illustrations of crucial battles; including depictions of, “The Fight at Duck Lake”, “The Battle of Fish Creek”, “The Looting of the Old Town of Battleford”, “Prairie Church Parade of General Middleton’s Command”, “The Late Captain French Prevailing On Three of White Cap’s Warriors to Surrender”, “The Battle of Cut Knife Creek”, “The Capture of Batoche”, “The Capture of Riel” amongst many others.
