Original, lovely blind-stamped cloth over boards with gilt lettering to the spines, blind-stamped floral devices and borders. Engraved frontispiece of the subject accompanied with its original tissue-guard. Extremities show mild rubbing to the boards, light sunning to spines, gilt lettering has faded somewhat, two quite lovely bookplates affixed to the front pastedowns otherwise, the contents remain remarkably bright, clean, and unmarked with tight, sound bindings.
