Bound in lovely 3/4 calf leather over illustrated paper boards with gilt lettering, and decoration embossed to the front board, and spine; illustrated endpapers. Comprised chiefly of striking duo-tone photographs of the Swedish landscape, peoples, landmarks etc., as captured by the talented Gullers. Neat ink name to the corner of the front pastedown otherwise no detectable flaws, contents bright, clean, and unmarkerd with tight, sound binding; near fine. The Nordic Museum houses much of Guller’s collection of pictures from 1938-78. It comprises of approximately 470, 000 negatives, monochrome and colour. The subjects of his portraits included such prominent personalities as: Charlie Chaplin, Ingrid Bergman, Ingrid Bergman and Alfred Hitchcock, Gregory Peck, Orson Welles, John Steinbeck, Bruno Mathsson, Duke Ellington, Royal Prince Bertel, Astrid Lindgren, and Prince Carl XVI Gustaf.
