Textured dark green stapled card covers with blind-stamped floral borders, gilt and black lettering. Comprising of eight leaves featuring nineteen (19) tipped-in photographs all surrounded by lovely elaborate raised floral motifs. Photographs depict a range of Winnipeg scences, landmarks, including many of Winnipeg’s famed “Chicago-style” architecture. Photographs include views of: Main Street from Portage Ave, [Old] City Hall & Soldier’s Monument, Old Fort Garry Gateway, Manitoba Parliament Buildings, Assiniboine Avenue, Isbister School (Winnipeg), Photograph of the Duke and Duchess of York [passing beneath] the Wheat Arch, Dufferin School Winnipeg, The Big Wheat Archi (commemorating the 15th consecutive year of increase in wheat yields), The Law Courts & Provincial Jail, the YMCA Buildings, Knox Church, Holy Trinity Church, St. John’s College, Manitoba College, Manitoba University (Winnipeg), “One of Winnipeg’s 13 Banks”, Wesley College (Winnipeg), Assiniboine Park. Covers show chips, short closed tears, along the edges. Contents bright, clean, and unmarked with sound stapled binding. Overall, very good. Card Covers.
