Various black-and-white wood-engravings throughout, all collated and accounted for. Light edgewear, some rubbing to the boards and spine. Contents without blemish with bright, clean, and unmarked pages, and firm, sound binding; very good+.

Exceptionally rare in commerce in this edition, and state. Corresponds to OCLC #590153056. Our offering is most likely an early, though later, printing of this title as it was listed in American-Sunday School Union catalogues dated to 1828 – 1893. Printed chiefly for the consumption of a juvenile audience, it would recount in a dialogue-format, the work of American missionaries amongst the Indigenous Peoples of North America.
