Slim 8vo., measuring 5″ x 8″. Bound in contemporary pebbled cloth boards with gilt lettering to the spine, new endpapers. Speckled foredges. The first five pages features an annual report to the Society by J. Payne Collier (Chairman), and Thomas Wright (Secretary). The reporting also includes an auditor’s report with an update on the state of finances for the 1845-46 fiscal year outlining receipts and expenditures, signed by T. Crofton Croker, and John Blachford. The following six pages report in great detail the works which have already been printed in years past with a small advertisement for prospective members ($1.00 per annum) with the one stipulation that the Society was limited to only 500 members, as well as a listing of all council members for the years 1845-46. Very light sunning to the spine, neat ink name to the ffep, light occasional foxing (confined to just a few of the initial pages). Overall, very good+. Exceedingly scarce with no extanct copies of this title which include the annual general and auditor’s report available at time of cataloguing in commerce. See OCLC #1032033092.
