Scarce. “Quota International Incorporated became the first international classified women’s service club on February 6th, 1919, by incorporating in New York State. Girls’ service work was adopted in 1924 as the major project. While the organization had been chartered as Quota International, it was in 1925 that it truly became international with the forming of the first club in Canada, the Quota Club of Winnipeg. The main thrust of Quota’s work on international, district and club levels, throughout eleven countries, is now “hearing impairment” but the Quota Club of Winnipeg has been involved with many additional community service needs.” Spiral Bound.
