Meighan in Drury-lane, 1743. pp. [5], 535 + “Index of the Subjects of Prayer”. 12mo., measuring 3.5″ x 6″. Original full dark calf boards with (slightly faded) gilt rules, lettering to the spine. Lovely engraved head-piece to the title page, and elaborate initial letter. Light edgewear, very light superficial surface creases to the spine, rear board present though regrettably separated; leather extremities recently replenished and treated. Contents remain remarkably bright, clean, and unmarked with tight, sound binding. Overall, very good. Leather Bound. (#1251) $195.00
