From the personal collection of the late Shirlee Anne Smith, the first Canadian Keeper of the Hudson’s Bay Archives. Stapled Wraps. Not to be confused with the “Nakusp Souvenir Cook Book”. This is the first printing of what would later be named, “Nakusp’s little red cook book” , and printed by the Arrow Lakes Agricultural and Industrial Association in 1930 (OCLC #629764783). See also, Driver’s Culinary Landmarks (p. 1108, 50.1). This exceedingly scarce ‘First Issue’ from 1922 is unrecorded in OCLC, and presently not housed at Guelph, Library & Archives Canada, or McGill. NOT found in Elizabeth Driver’s formidable bibliography of Canadian Cookery: Culinary Landmarks. Rare indeed. (#1750) $395.00
