Woodsworth wherein he writes, “I should like to give you this copy of a book I wrote twenty-five years ago. Recently, I discovered a stock of these, which I understand could not be sold since I had left the church and been involved in the Winnipeg general strike. It occurred to me that a few friends might still be interested in having a copy, as the book shows (a) the social conditions at that period – which have in many respects not changed very greatly – and also (b) the lines about which I was then working.” Signed (typed) “J.S. Woodsworth.” Hardcover. (#1173) $245.00
