Replete with many photographs, portraits, illustrations, and period advertisements by sponsoring local businesses including: the Eaton Co., Hudson’s Bay Company, City of Winnipeg Hydro Service, Swift Canaidan Co., 7-Up, and many others. Dedication on the first page states, “To the ex-students of Lord Selkirk High School who are nobly serving King and Country in the battle of freedom we proudly dedicate the following pages”. The verso of the title page includes a list of those student who had fallen in action, and those missing in action. Comprises of a complete listing of all graduating students, staff, faculty, year book committee, et al. The verso of the rear cover includes an index, and a complete listing with the names of the many dozens of advertisers who contributed to the publication of this year book. In unusually well preserved card covers, contents are bright, clean, and unmarked; near fine. Exceedingly scarce, with no known extant copies available in commerce at time of cataloguing.
