Original leather binding over boards featuring five raised bands to spine, six compartments. Lovely gilt lettering, and floral motifs to the the spine; marbled endpapers, intricate floral head-piece to title page. Extremities show edgewear to two corners of foredge, some chipping only to the head of the spine. Institutional stamp to verso of ffep, gilt foredges have darkened with time as is to be expected. Rare occasional, and scarcely perceptible foxing confined strictly to a few pages of front matter. Binding remains quite sound. Overall, good+. Leather Bound.
