Settling in Canada in 1984 he began the difficult process of assimilating with Canadian society. He describes his struggles to integrate, his efforts at learning English. From the preface: “The story immerses the reader in a journey from one part of the world to others, from one culture to other cultures, from one self to many selves and from the borders of nationalism to border-free multiculturalism. It is a frank indictment of today’s institutions of religion, marriage, education and other international affairs. Such multicultural literature binds nations as love binds hearts.” Near Fine.
