The Sixth Edition, with Amendments from the last Edition of the History published by the author.; & The Second Edition (Volume III). pp. xvi, [16], 312; pp. 358, + 2 pages of publishers’ advertisements; pp. [20], 300. Uniformly bound in original leather over boards, blind-stamped titles, gilt numbering, and floral motifs to compartments; five raised bands to spine, six compartments. Rubricated intitial letters, engraved frontispieces, floral head and tail pieces, motifs, various plates of engravings (all collated and accounted for, and in excellent condition). Extremities show superficial scuffs, and light surface cracks to the leather of the spine, some chipping to the head, and tail (spine). Internally, some foxing chiefly confined to the endpapers, text-block remains remarkably bright, clean, and unmarked with sound binding. All three volumes were published in the same year (1728), with Volumes I & II being of the Sixth Edition, and Volume III being of the Second Edition. Overall, good+.
