First edition. pp. 123, ads., 12mo. Bound in original printed stiff card covers, Schmidt-Pauli (1881-1995) was born in Hamburg, Germany and was an author and journalist. He was present at the Versailles Peace Negotiations. After the fall of the Weimar Republic in 1933, he joined the Nazi cause and wrote several books complimentary of Hitler. With rubber stamps on inside of covers and on title page: ‘Property of / Office of Mil. Gov’t. Library / Directors Bldg.’. Spine label removed from bottom of covers, leaving abrasions.
