Overall, very good+. SIGNED and inscribed by the author to the title page. Dr. Henry Morgentaler was a Polish born Canadian physician, Holocaust survivor and a pro-choice activist. His battles with the Quebec judicial authorities led to landmark rulings and established important judicial precedents (namely, The Morgentaler Amendment). In R v Morgentaler, The Supreme Court of Canada struck down the 1969 abortion law under which Morgentaler was charged.
