Spiral Bound. ”The Elim Mennonite Church of Grunthal (Manitoba) celebrated its 75th Anniversary during the year 2002. Various projects and activities were organized during the year, including the publishing of a history book of the 75 years of the church’s existence. The celebrations encompassed some visions of the future and enjoyments of the present, but in large part was the presentation, by different members, of special memories and experiences of the past, in the form of a vignette. The vignettes were approximately five minutes in lenght and were shared as part of our Sunday morning worship services. Collectively these were often glimpses into the psat of a more personal, intimate and informal nature and reflected a part of the fabric of the soul and character of Elim church that one doesn’t always see in the formally recorded history. These vignettes turned out to be quite popular as well as informative, and immediately the committee was asked to compile them in book form”. (#2231) $49.00
